2. Entry Forms are required for the Horse Show and Cattle and Sheep sections. Entry Forms can be obtained from Committee members, Section organisers or the Show Website. Entries for these competitions must be lodged with section organisers by Wednesday 11 July 2007.

3. Late entries will not be considered in any class or Section.

4. Sections 1 is open only to residents of the Point area, which for the purpose of these rules is defined as being from Portnaguran to the junction of the A866 (main Point Road) and Mossend, along Mossend and through Steinish, and including the Plasterfield, Bayview & Sandwick area.

5. Sections 2 and 3 are open to exhibitors who produce stock within the Stornoway Trust Area. Sections 4 to 11 are open to any exhibitor.

6. Points will be awarded in sections 1 to 11 as follows:
    1^st prize 3 points……, 2^nd prize 2 points……, 3^rd prize 1 point
    Rosettes will be awarded to 1^st, 2^nd  & 3^rd places in each class except as
    otherwise stated in Show Brochure.

7. All Special Trophies will be awarded on the basis of the Judges choice.

8. Should entries in any class not exceed three, the committee reserve the right to limit or reduce the value and/or the number awards.

9. All exhibits must be bona-fide the property of the exhibitor.

10. Exhibitors may compete with more than one exhibit and may take more than one prize in any class.

11. No exhibits to be taken away before 5pm.

12. All trophies to be returned in polished condition by eve of the show. Shields may be engraved by the winners but trophies are NOT to be engraved.

13. Judge’s decision is final.

14. No claim for any damage, loss, injury or accident, to any person, property or their animals arising out of the Point Agricultural Show or conduct of management thereof will be recognised.
